This site is designed to give you a taste of the works
of Mary Wilshire.
But
how do you categorize Mary's works?
Mary
is well known for her early work in the comic book industry
will numerous projects for Marvel and DC Comics, Heavy
Metal and National Lampoon. But that is just the tip
of the iceberg.
Mary
has also provided illustrations for many more mainstream
publications such as Good Housekeeping, National Geographic,
Readers Digest, Parents Magazine, The New York Daily
News, Time Life Books and numerous others.
But
we are just still scratching the surface...
Mary
is an artist who works in many mediums and has produced
wonderful and imaginative stand-alone illustrations
in line art, pastels, watercolor and marker - some exhibited
in museums and galleries, and many in the hands of fortunate
collectors.
Heck,
Mary even designed the Blues Brothers logo and many
character drawings for the WWF!
What
we hope to show on this is just a sample of the depth
of Mary's work. You will have to use your imagination
to figure out the benefits of having Mary's art work
for your publication, business image, or personal collection.
If you need ideas of just what Mary's work can bring
to your project, just send us an email and we will gladly
advise you every step of the way.
I
hope the site does justice to this amazing talent.
